CHEESE PLUS 4th ANNUAL
FALL HARVEST FESTIVAL ANNOUNCED
Artisan Food Tasting Saturday, October 25, 2008 11AM – 6PM

September 19, 2008. For Immediate Release

Cheese Plus hosts its 4th annual Fall Harvest Festival Saturday, October 25th from 11AM – 6PM. More than 2 dozen local Bay Area artisan food vendors will sample their handmade foods throughout the day. An excellent opportunity for consumers to meet directly with the makers and enjoy the finest foods of the Bay Area and around the globe.

This year’s event focuses on the California Artisan Cheese Guild and unique California dairies including: Cypress Grove, Redwood Hill, Bellwether Farms, Point Reyes, Three Sisters, and Franklin Peluso. You’ll also be tempted with offerings from Beehive Dairy from Utah, Jasper Hill Farms from Vermont, and many more.

Chuck Siegel, owner of Charles Chocolates, will lead an in store chocolate mendiant making demonstration that’s sure to be a lot of fun and tasty, too!

This year’s line up also includes:
•	Fabrique Délices all natural pâté, salami, and sausages
•	Apollo organic olive oils. Voted Top 10 Olive Oil of the world
•	Kick’s ice cream sandwiches
•	San Francisco Cheese Quake (Cheesecake)
•	Manicaretti Foods – Imports of traditional Italian foods
•	Perfect Edge Knife Sharpening Service (Fee for sharpening)
•	And many more….

The free festivities begin at 11AM and continue until sunset. Live music from Duo Gadjo, with members of the Hot Club of San Francisco, is scheduled for the afternoon.

Feelgoodworld.org will be on site for donations and information about their project to “end world hunger, one grilled cheese at a time.” Cheese Plus will donate 5% of total sales on Saturday, October 25th to their worthy cause.

Cheese Plus is San Francisco’s premier Cheese and Specialty Food store. Located on the sunny corner of Polk and Pacific in the Russian Hill neighborhood, Cheese Plus supports local food artisans and offers an abundant selection of the finest foods from the Bay Area and around the globe.</description>
